February 28

When I woke up this morning I knew I was going to stamp.....I try to stamp something everyday!  Then I was looking at the postings on Stampin' Connection and this post just grabbed by attention.  It was a post asking for donations of birth announcements for a rural maternity ward in Arizona.  That was it!  This is what I was going to stamp today...birth announcements.  I decided to do a pack of ten birth announcements for "GIRLS".  I have a cute stamp set that I used for my son when he was born and that was the first and last time I used this stamp set.  It was perfect:)

I love being able to do things for others, as I feel we all should.  This was a way I could use my stamping abilities and extra product for a good cause.  So I handstamped ten really cute "It's a Girl!" birth announcements.  I would love to be able to do this more often and now I think I will.  Ususally we make stacks of cards for SWAP's, and we get cards in return for the hard work we put into making these cards.  But there is something special about not getting something in return but just knowing that you are making someone's day a little bit better by using your talents.  It is a really good feeling to do that!  Kind of addicting actually.  So as I keep looking at posts on Stampin' Connection for more cards that I may be able to make and donate to a good cause, I challenge all of you to do the same.  We have all been blessed with talents and abilities that can make a difference.  We need to use these more often.  So next time you see a post asking for your help, don't look past it, read on and make a difference with your talent!!!!

February 25

Well I have been doing TONS of swaps for regionals in Hartford, CT.  Instead of doing all of same card in bulk, I changed it up a bit! I did a few different cards with differernt designs. It does get a little boring for me to make the same card over and over and over.  So doing different cards not only gives me the chance to create and have fun but gives me a renewed hope that the people I swap with will be happy with there cards:)  Here are some of the cards I made.  Hope you like them:)

It really is going to be a blast if you can make it.  Swapping, fun, MDS classes, prizes and most important friends and fellow stampers.  Hope to see you there.

So today I have been working like crazy doing swap for regionals, and I still need to order more product to finish.  Don't get me wrong, I love seeing the UPS guy with SU! box for me.  It is so exciting!!!  Half the time I forget what I ordered so it's even more exciting.  You guys know what I mean right??? LOL.  Hoping to get more swaps done tomorrow with the kids going back to school.  Wishing full thinking:)

Hope you all have a great night full of fun, stamping, creativeness and resting:)

February 19

I just posted some pics of my stamping room that is under construction like everything else in my life.  But it is my spot to be creative, to create, to stamp with friends and have fun:)  Everybody needs there spot.  For me it used to be the kitchen table with my supplies in a box.  But hey it worked for me at the time:)  Hope you like the pictures.  When I finish more of the room I will post more.

Actually, and who can say no to this question, wouldn't love to have Shelli Gardner's stamping room??  Right.  I was just reading about it and saw pictures in the "Where Women Create" magazine from Winter 2009.  If you haven't seen the photos - WOW!  The room is beautiful!!!  If I had it all I woud do all day is sit in it and create myself.  But Shelli did start 20 years ago in her living room right??  We all need to start somewhere.  She truly inspires me:)  Hope everyone is inspired by something:)  For me it just happens to be Shelli and Stampin' Up.

Happy Creating, Stamping and being inspired!!

February 17

Hi Everyone:)
So who is going to regionals this year?  Convention?  I will be at the Hartford Regionals on the 19th - hope to meet and see some of you there:)

Has anyone seen the inspiring +One speech by Shelli on Stampin' Connection?  I tell you that woman is like a firework.  Everytime I've heard her speak it inspires me to work harder, stamp more and generally be a better person.  I've also had the pleasure and opportunity to meet her in NYC this past fall and that was so exciting.  I was like a little kid!  If you haven't checked out her new +One video and her new You Tube video check it out.  The links are on Stampin' Connection.  Let me know what you think.  I especially like the Candy Shop!  It is hard to believe that everything is made from paper!!!!  WOW!!!

Hope you all have a wonderful day and a day full of stamping - hopefully:)

But hopefully those days are soon to be behind us and I can get back to what I love to do - taking care of of my kids and stamping!

Can't wait to show you all the new projects and my "under construction" stamping/crafting room.  It's gonna be great!  I will keep you posted with new blogs and new pics.  Hope you are all well.  Thanks for following.

Enjoy your day, stay healthy and keep stamping:)
